I watched some installation tutorials on you tube and I KEPT IT CAUSE I LOVE IT. For those whom say it does not work I have a suggestion for you…first install the ruffler, then insert the needle and after that MOVE YOUR NEEDLE TO THE CENTER FIRST, BEFORE SEWING. The foot is a bit tricky to install but I imagine it would be the same with all machines and NAME brand presser foot. I tried it and it works great. I am a beginner at this and this little thingy made me look like a pro.

Can’t believe the awesome ruffles this sewing foot makes. I always made my ruffles with a basting stitch and hand gathering. Not anymore. This Ruffling Foot sews professional looking ruffles. I have not been disappointed yet.

The goods came as in the description, but had to be modified, the tooth that moves the warehouse mechanism did not have sufficient bending and did not cling the mechanism, but the gentle effect of the pliers and voila, everything earned

The foot is good. On thin jeans works well. Knitwear does not sew-kulirku, footer chews. On my janome tip-718s came up. The foot came in a box with instructions on use in english.

I liked the foot very much. Tested in business, it turned out a good drapery and folds. Happy with the goods. Thanks to the seller.

"The fabric needs to be laid between the plates, first put under the entire foot, sewed as usual)) the smaller the figure on the adjustment lever of the fold, the smaller it is, there are parameters 1-8-12. There are no folds under the asterisk."

I. Love. My. Ruffler. Foot. I bought this while creating a can-can costume and needing to sew on 3 miles of ruffles. Actually, needing to MAKE the ruffles first. This was a life saver! Took me a minute to figure it out (I'm not a professional, just a casual seamstress) but once I did the ruffle foot worked it's magic! If you like ruffles, this is the foot for you. I've had it for a few years and it still works great! Quality craftsmanship in something I will pass down to my children so they can make me ruffled things.

Ruffles in minutes, really adjustable, easy to use (once you have ran several practice runs), and supposedly you can attach the ruffled piece on to your project in on step.

First, this is my second ruffler (different seller). The first threw a small part that I had no idea where it came from. Then it started clunking and broke a needle. There were no instructions with it.
This one, oh this one, completely different story. Beautiful instructions and much different manufacturing. Oh- and it told me I needed to oil it. Last one, not so much. I tried as soon as I got it and it was ten times better. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Doing ruffles is so much easier with this than the gathering foot (which really only gathered thin materials such as lace) and the hand method, forget it, I ruined more material trying to do that. This not only gathers but pleats. And the instructions show how to do different gathers and pleats.

These ruffle foot attachments works well with BROTHER JX2517 sewing machines. They are made well, not as heavy as the Brother's version of this ruffler foot but not made flimsy either. It may be a bit of a challenge for a beginner to attach it onto this model if they are not use to attaching ruffler feet onto sewing machines. The reason is you must remove the presser foot and the attachment entirely, PLUS the needle in order to attach this foot. It does not attach to the sewing machine attachment used to attach feet. After you remove the needle, presser foot and its attachment - you must unscrew the screw that holds the attachment to the presser foot in place, slide this ruffler foot on then screw it into the area where the original attachment would be. It could be confusing for a beginner. HOWEVER, It works! The sewing machine's [Brother JX2517] setting should be on a 6. Once you properly attach this foot it will work perfectly! The price was great and the shipping cost was low. I would recommend this item. Good Luck!

This foot worked perfectly. I was unsure if it would be compatible with my Brother CS-6000i but decided to try it since it was such a good deal. As a previous reviewer said as long as you keep the needle in the middle or 01 position it works great. I had no problems at all with it. I uploaded some photos as an example of how it ruffled. I made aprons for my daughters for Christmas and finished them with ruffles. :)

This is another ruffler presser foot I got, since finding out about them. It is big and kinda weird looking but it does an awesome job of gathering and pleating. I tried it out today and it was so cool watching it work. There are 4 different settings on this ruffler sewing machine presser foot. Plus there are several different settings on how full you want the ruffle to be. I can't believe all the options that this one presser foot can do. I like that it can do pleats also, and they turn out so nicely.

This is perfect. Works great on my babylock!
